The maps,. Except for the world maps and the West Indies, are double page measuring 22 cm x 8.5 cm. The front world map measures 36 x 8.5, the rear measure 27.5 x 8.5 and the West Indies 30.5 x 8.5 cm and are all fold-out. The binding is in poor, worn condition, the front board detached and the rear nearly., The maps are generally in very good condition and several of the two page maps have clean tears at the fold extremities. The West Indies map has several small clean tears at the bottom of the folds and the Mercator projection at the rear has a small ragged tear at the right edge which has caused a small loss extending into the border of the map. The maps are dated 1803 and 1804, most being 1803.
