One of the major illustrated books of the twentieth century, with all pages mounted on gray card. Bound in half vellum with grey boards and gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. This book can be considered the swan song of the Edwardian illustrated book. A commercial failure, it remains a landmark. Lower corners bumped and some shelfwear to the lower edges otherwise near fine.
