A Haycraft-Queen's Cornerstone. Bound in blindstamped red cloth with the familiar Hodder and Stoughton yellow jacket. Book in very nice bright condition. Jacket has chips and erosion at spine extremities and an 1 triangular loss at the corner of the lower rear panel.

Toronto William Briggs 1906 First Canadian Edition Softcover Good in Wraps 312 pp.
First Canadian edition printed from the Greening sheets with a Canadian title and copyright page. Eight black and white plates by H.M/ Brock. In plain brown wraps with a floral device of a pimpernel on the front cover, identical to the design of the English edition. Apparently published in both a hardcover and softcover edition. Tile and copyright page missing much of bottom edge affecting some text but not the date. Last page has suffered the same fate causing loss to Percy on p.311. Pages browning, general wear. Wraps worn and faded with some losses at spine extremities. Pencilling erased on title page. Fragile and extremely scarce.
