Forty mounted tissue-guarded colour plates by Arthur Rackham and many black and white illustrations. Identical to the second British printing. Some of his very best work. Bound in faintly green cloth with gilt titling on front cover and spine, gilt vignette on front cover. Overall very light wear, some mild soiling, spine a little darkened with a small oval spot, several tiny white dots on front board. Contents in lovely condition. Overall a very handsome copy of an oddly scarce issue.
