The Boo-boo books published in 1921-22 were the first books written and illustrated by Attwell. The Boo-boo's themselves were a small gang of green-clad fairy-like persons who attached themselves to a little girl called Bunty and her dog Mops. A somewhat disreputable copy of a delightful book. Considerable amateur colouring - all of the black and white illustrations have been enthusiasticlly and inexpertly coloured, mostly in crayon, occasionally in watercolour. The plates have been pencilled on the verso although the plates themselves have been left alone. The spine is missing although part from he boo-boos and Bun has been laid in. Boards are rippled in the upper quadrants.
